We begin with a visit to the bustling Mercato Centrale situated in the center of Florence in the S. Lorenzo quarter, just a short walk away from the Medici chapels and the tombs by Michelangelo.

We will discover the secrets of Tuscan cuisine – how to prepare crostini, ribollita and pappa al pomodoro, tripe stew, lampredotto, the use of extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and how to savor the taste of Chianti wines produced in the famous Tuscan hills.

At this point, you will have the opportunity to shop for the best seasonal food and wine from across the region.

We will cross Florence city in search of the most traditional recipes and will have the opportunity to discover the best restaurants for a quick lunch or memorable dinner.
